He was. He is not.
One negotiates not with
the angel of death

who waits for no man.
Gone in the blink of an eye.
May he rest in peace.

R.I.P. Steven Berney, middle brother, kind and generous soul.

To quote a peculiar fellow with whom I once worked, “Life is like sh*t on a wheel…sometimes up, sometimes down.”
